How much does pest control cost?

Pest control costs vary based on the type of pest, severity of infestation, and size of your property. We offer both one-time treatments and affordable monthly protection plans. Contact us for a personalized estimate.

Is pest control okay for homes with pets and children?

Yes. We use EPA-registered products and eco-friendly treatments that meet rigorous standards for environmental responsibility. We use methods that are effective against pests while minimizing risk to your family and pets. For each treatment, we'll provide specific instructions—in most cases, you don't need to leave your home during service.

How often should I get pest control?

For most Cleveland homes, tri-annual treatments (3 times per year) provide effective year-round protection. This schedule addresses seasonal pest pressures. We also offer a 365-plan for year-round preventative protection.

Do you offer same-day service?

Yes, same-day service is available for most of our service area when our schedule allows. We prioritize emergency situations. Call us at (440) 542-2000 and we'll do our best to accommodate urgent needs.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Greater Cleveland and communities throughout Northeast Ohio, covering 7 counties: Cuyahoga, Summit, Lake, Geauga, Lorain, Medina, and Portage.

5 star review from Paul F: "We used Defense for pest control at our home here in Brecksville, and they did an excellent job. Cody was on time, friendly, and took the time to inspect the whole property, inside and out. He explained what he found and what treatment he'd use, and answered all our questions without rushing. Pricing was fair and transparent."
5 star review from Kenzie Arnold: "We had an amazing experience with this pest control company, especially with Cody! He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. From the moment he arrived, he took the time to explain everything to us, answered all of our questions, and clearly walked us through what he was doing and why. Dealing with these types of things can be stressful, but Cody made the whole process feel much easier and gave us confidence that we were in good hands. He was respectful of our home, paid attention to detail, and truly went above and beyond. We are so grateful for the excellent service and would absolutely recommend this company to anyone dealing with a pest problem. Thank you, Cody, for doing such a fantastic job!"
5 star review from Robin Convents: "We noticed wasps entering/exiting a space between roof soffit and wall during the weekend and on Monday morning they were already taken care off! Communication easy via text over the weekend, friendly and fast response, thank you guys!"
5 star review from Kyla Kobelak: "Cody Leicher seriously saved us!! We were having issues with big companies like Terminix but he came in and went above and beyond! He helped us move an insanely big bedframe and make sure to triple check each room for bugs, which gave us so much peace of mind!! This company responded quickly and were very very nice!"
5 star review from Sharon Kobelak: "Cody Leicher is the absolute best!! We were struggling to get everything done and he went absolutely above and beyond!!"
5 star review from Russell Smith: "I think when you are choosing someone to perform a Service, integrity is the most important reason why you should choose them. I had Cody in my Home for a Bed Bug problem, and I think you will like his experience to solve this problem. The Owner Scott is of high integrity, a great worker and greater American. This organization is the 100% BEST choice for you to solve any pest problem. It's a slam dunk of integrity that comes from its Leadership."
5 star review from Rainelle G.: "Scott came out to spray for ants and I haven’t seen an ant since! When he came by, it was quick and concealed. I couldn’t smell any chemicals or see any residue like I normally would with other pesticides. If you have any pesty ants out in Rocky River, highly recommend !"

5 star review from Sarah: "We recently had our home and camper treated Defense pest control in Twinsburg, Ohio and could not be happier with the results! From the very beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. They treated both the inside and outside of our home and camper with such attention to detail and made sure every concern we had was addressed. Not only was their service effective, but the team was also friendly, respectful, and took the time to explain everything along the way. We’ve already noticed a huge difference and have so much peace of mind knowing everything was handled properly. If you’re looking for reliable, honest, and hardworking pest control professionals in the Twinsburg area, we highly recommend them!"
5 star review from Maura Jochum Leone: "We just signed on with Defense Pest Control to protect our Bainbridge property from pests -- bees, rodents, insects, etc. Very pleased with the first visit. Our provider was professional, efficient, and knowledgable when I asked questions. Impressed that the owner called later in the morning to confirm we were pleased with the service. Looking forward to continuing to work with them."
